ANTONIO SEGUI EXHIBITION

15 años con Seguí

Art works from the last 15 years in Paris of this well known argentine artist. More than a hounded art works: paintings, pastels, ink, illustrated books and engravings.

This exhibition of 60 art works shows this painter career from 1952 to 1970, many of which belong to him or private collections and are difficult to find otherwise.


Antonio Seguí

This artist born in Cordoba is one of the most talented argentine painters. Using the social satire, this artist went from neofigurative art in the 60s to paint urban scenes. He started painting to “Sr. Gustavo”, a character that embodies the alienation that urban citizens experiment, it represents judges, bankers, lawyers, politicians etc. An ironic view to urban solitude, false authorities and power.
